Montreal, Que. August 30, 2007- Dorel Distribution Canada (DDC) in cooperation with Transport Canada is conducting a Public Notice of the Cosco Alpha Omega; Cosco Alpha Omega Elite; Eddie Bauer 3 in 1; Eddie Bauer Deluxe 3 in 1 Child; Safety 1st Enspira and Safety 1st Intera Restraint Systems manufactured from November 1, 2003 through December 31, 2005. No injuries have been reported. An investigation has found there is a potential for the center front adjuster strap to loosen during use.

Model numbers affected include:

Dorel Distribution Canada will provide consumers with a free repair kit to replace the center front adjuster strap. All owners of these restraints who returned a registration card or registered online will automatically receive a notification regarding the Public Notice. The affected seats should not be returned to the retailer.

Non-registered owners will need to provide Dorel Juvenile Group with the following information: Name, address, daytime telephone number, model number, and manufacturing date. Model and manufacturing information can be obtained from the label affixed to the restraint.
